Andy Ross BSc. MSc. MCIOB MRICS |
Andy is the head of the Construction Department at Liverpool John Moores University. He is a chartered surveyor and a Chartered builder. He has been teaching undergraduates and postgraduates in the area of construction economics for over 10 years. He has been publishing both nationally and internationally ofr many years in the areas of construction economics and information systems. He is currently completing a PhD in Knowledge Management in Construction Organisations

David Jaggar M.Phil., PhD., FRICS, MCIOB, MACostE |
David is an Emeritus Professor of Construction Economics and former Deputy Director of the School of the Built Environment at Liverpool John Moores University.
He has many years of experience in industry and Higher Education as a practitioner and a consultant, teacher and researcher in the field of construction economics.
He has published widely, and given conference papers in many parts of the world; his consultancy has included work for the World Bank, North West Water, and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
He is joint co-ordinator of CIB-W92 Procurement Systems, with which international building procurement issues.

Peter Love MSc., PhD |
Peter Love is an Associate Professor in the School of Management Information Systems at Edith Cowan University (Australia), and the Asia Pacific Editor for Logistics Information Management: An International Journal, and the Business Process Management Journal.
He has an MSc in Construction Managemtn from the University of Bath in the UK, and a PhD in Operations Management from Monash University in Australia.
He has a wide range of industry experience, which he gained in the UK and Australia, working as a consultant manager and a project manager for a multi-national organisation.

Jim Smith, MUP (Melb), PhD., FRICS |
Jim Smith is a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He worked in private practice and local government in London, Brighton, Sheffield, Nottingham and in Melbourne, Australia.
He taught at the National University of Singapore, the City Polytechnic of Hong Kong and the School of Architecture of Building at Deakin University, Australia.
Jim is presently at the University of Melbourne and recently completed his PhD on strategic client briefing. He has numerous refereed national and international journals to his credit.
Jim's previous books, Building Cost Planning for the Design Team (1998) and Building Cost Planning in Action (2000) have been well received, both in Australia and overseas.
