Case Study

This part of the site has been designed to:

  • Introduce the reader to a series of models used to illustrate the practice of design management
  • Give the user access to all the model information used by the text, this includes design information, cost information and market information.

If you click on the Approach link on the menu, this will lead you to the start of the case study. Here, you can follow how the design develops and the cost consequences are modelled. You will access a real life project's design and cost information and also review the author's models.

By selecting Available Information from the menu, you will be able to review all the design and cost information used in the development of this website. The authors gratefully acknowledge the BCIS who have given permission for the use of a tiny part of their database of cost information.
